Chromodoris magnifica
The Magnificent Chromodoris is a common nudibranch or sea slug in the waters of Macajalar and Gingoog Bays, Northern Mindanao, Philippines. It is recognized by the orange margined mantle with a thin white stripe at the edge, a whitish/pale blue body outlined by 3 black lines, and a red to orange rhinophores (eye-stalk looking organ) and gills (the flowery protuberence at the rear part). A magnificent nudibranch, just one of the amazing things you find in a healthy sea.
