Edit Photo Details Light of a once dimembered society
Dominating egos can paralyse communities. Landmines in Cambodia were placed by different governments (particularly the Khmer Rogue under the leadership of Pol Pot) as part of social engineering efforts that discouraged social dependence. The unrelenting belief in absolute self sufficiency only dismembered Khmer social connections. Reconstruction of these same communities begin with co-creation, just like how this wooden wheelchair was built by collective efforts of different families.
