Every year on the day of the dead, the cemetery of Pomuch, a little Mayan village in Campeche, witness this ancient tradition. People go to the cemetery to clean the bones of their ancestors. Ms. Cecilia Tuz explained that is a way to let them know they are still loved. "I can't stand knowing that my father is there, dirty, and lonely. I don't understand why not all people do this, don't they love their parents?" she said.
