    Reported by:

A dancer gets into character at the Junkanoo parade. The parade is held a couple of times a year, including on New Years Day on the island of Nassau and many of the residents ( be it doctors, lawyers, teachers, police officers) take part. Everyone on the island seems to have some hand in putting it together, whether it be designing the costumes, coming up with the choreography, setting up the theme. The parade is held from 1 am to 10 am and the entire island is wide awake!
