when cotton trees are found ...they are mainly found for their succesful wind dispersal process of seeds.In this picture it is clearly shown that how nature had modified itself...like cotton trees are mainly found in black soils and weather which are charactarized by seasonal dry and monsoon....because this type of wind dispersal will only occur succesfully in dry climates
