    My friends and I traveled to the Namib Desert for the holidays to explore the famous red dunes in Namib-Naukluft National Park. On the way to Deadvlei, our park guide stopped the truck for a brief photo op. I quickly snapped a shot with no filters or special effects and then put my camera away, not realizing until later that the picture could easily be mistaken for a painting.
