For the last 12 years, I have organized and led expeditions to observe and photograph whales underwater. My goal is to float along observing natural behaviors that include rest, play, feeding, heat runs, and intimate moments of communication that exist between another and calf. In this portrait the mother and calf are sharing some quality time to rest and communicate with each other.
