I took this photo in rural area of Sardasht-e Zeydun, Khuzestan, Iran. Here in rural areas you can not easily approached women and photographing them. Because of cultural issues, they don't have positive view of the photographer and the photo. But this old lady was gentle and affable. She told me: Last year I lost 12 cows for evil eyes. In 21th century, people still have a strong believes in superstition. Her husband died a few years ago And she works hard for her family. She is a strong woman!
