I had driven past this area dozens of times. I decided to give it a hard look. The heavy rains had not started yet, and the water flow was moderate. Time to throw on the waders and get into the middle of the river! The skies were overcast, but then a small patch of sunshine came through and lit up just the oak tree at the end of the pond!
