A Striated Pardalote & their young greet the new day together. I was so taken by the image of the parent in bright sun while the shadow was still on the young chick as the sun was rising. These charismatic little birds return to our home very year to raise their young. We have had the joy of watching many generations care for their babies. Then, when the day has come that they coax them from their nest, we cheer as they emerge and applaud them as they test their little wings & learn to fly.
