Bait fishing in Kashmir
Kashmiri fishermen wait to catch fish as they cover themselves under blankets in the waters of the partially frozen Anchar Lake on the outskirts of Srinagar the summer capital of Indian controlled Kashmir .This fishing locally known as ‘Tchep Gaad’, (fishing in disguise) is a technique in which a fisherman covers his head under the cloth and waits quietly with a harpoon for his catch.
