Myanmar ( Burma )
Young, very beautiful Burmese. The customs of make-up is common in Burma for centuries. The rural women still use today a paste of ground sandalwood, yellow tree bark and water, thanaka. This paste is only painted as a round spot or as a square on the face, however, it is not applied negligently. One of the different reasons in using it is getting sun-protected.
