A breath from the Edge
The edge is a blend of the physical and the spiritual, part real and part magical. It’s a place that Edmonton poet Patrick M. Pilarski calls the tide walk, ‘a place for ghosts, lost in the spray’. As I breathe out, my breath becomes a bridge to a mystical place where sprites of light dance in a cirrus filigree of morning mist. Breathing on the edge.
