    weather in the tidewater area is subject to huge variations on a daily basis. As we change even the smallest of details can tell us a lot. This Moss is growing in both seasons winter into spring. Sea level rise in our area has huge national security issues related to our naval bases as well as ramifications for the centuries old oyster beds. Taking note of the smallest indicators of the health of out area ecosystem becomes vital.
