Indepedence Day
When I was sitting in the sand at Jones Beach, New York, all I wanted was to get good shots of the fireworks. These two men kept getting in my shot, much to my annoyance- they were loud, clapping almost louder than the blasts themselves. It was then I realized not only was I being unfair, but I also was not appreciating the moment. Here we were, sitting in a beautiful place and living free lives, and all I could think of was a shot instead of the celebration. I lightened up after that.
