I made a recent visit to a butterfly rainforest and I was drawn to the beautiful plumage of this finch. I got just a glimpse of him out of the corner of my eye. I had to wait several hours for the traffic in the exhibit to quiet down. Then this shy bird came out to feed and drink water. It is a native to Australia, but is living with other finches in the exhibit. The space is quite large, so this bird and all the other birds there have a very nice life. A beautiful natural setting.
