Taking a reprieve from a work conference, I visited the Milwaukee Museum of Art. A friend had recommended I check out a painting of St. Francis in the collection here, but I found myself enraptured by the building and its wings. Just before I left, on the veranda with a hot tea, this view filled me with extraordinary calmness and awe. On Nov. 9th, 2016, a building reminded me to Hope.
