CHILD AT THE PULO ISLAND
A young resident of Pulo Island. Pulo Island or Isla Pulo is a narrow island surrounded by mudflats in the Manila Bay coast of Navotas City, Philippines. Its landscape is continuously evolving due to harsh effects of climate change. It has also become severely polluted with inland sewages and contaminated industrial wastes from factories and shipping operations. Numerous mangrove trees in Pulo Island were cut down for charcoal and several fauna were hunted for food.
