As I become older (and hopefully wiser), I find myself appreciating the smallest things in life. I find great peace in wandering through my garden, looking for the smallest changes in my environment. Having taught young children for most of my working life, I have no problem just stopping to crouch down and study a leaf...or to watch an ant crawl over a blade of grass. The most glorious things surround us. We are blessed when we pay closer attention to the people and things that surround us.
