    Partick Pumping Station was opened in 1904 by Glasgow Corporation. This ornate redstone building sits on the west bank of the River Kelvin on Dumbarton Road. Still used as a water facility, the main building is a large hall tiled with gloss white tiles. The hexagonal feature at the south visible to the left of the picture above is the base of where a tall slender hexagonal chimney was formerly sited. The building is grade B listed.
