    Late morning skiing on a frozen lake with my dog Cinder she stopped and studied a coyote crossing quite a ways in front of us. The contrast of her black coat to that of the flat white lake surface captured me. The photo is a color photo even though it appears black and white. She is an active pup so I was fortunate she locked in place studying the coyote.
