Eleven years ago today this guy joined our family. He was a rescue dog, so we're not exactly sure how old he is, we think he was at least three years old when we got him. Since we don't know much about his beginnings, we celebrate his birthday on his adoption day. He is mostly blind and deaf now, but he always knows when I start cooking bacon.
