On our first night in Lapland, I took my family on a reconnaissance mission in search of a a good vantage point of the northern horizon in anticipation of a glimpse of the Northern Lights later in the week. Then I looked left and saw them. Some whooping and frantic choreographing moments later, to capture this special moment with my wife and son in the glow of the Northern Lights. Taken on Dec 19, 2016 in Karesuvanto, Finland.
