I shot this photo in the maroon bells - snowmass wilderness area. This was the end of the first of 3 days of hiking. We came over a mountain pass and looked down in this amazing valley. We set up camp in the middle of the valley with no one else in site. We just happened to be there at the perfect time of year where the sun sets behind the mountain range and shines its last rays through the mountain pass in the distance in the distance before dissapearing for the night.
