Twitter: @ADouglasPhotos - I raised two raccoons from pups to adulthood. They are smart, mischievous, and cute. When they grow up they are very large, strong and have sharp teeth. The male I raised went off to hibernate and returned in the spring with a litter of his own little ones that were the same size he was when I found him. He let them play at my feet where I petted them for a few minutes - to the horror of the mother - and then they walked off single file and I never saw them again.
