While picking up 2 hitchhikers while visiting the Blue Lagoon, our trip around Iceland became 8 of the 9 days sleeping over at the air stewardess' apartment that is located in the former NATO base. While driving North of Reykjavik we decided to take the long way down towards the Golden Circle. On our way we came across this view of a mountain from side of the road. My hitchhiker friend took a good pose and I snapped the shot. Location is near where the Allies' oil supplies were stored in WW2.
