When the Mississippi River is at a high level all sorts of material and refuse are carried down river to Baton Rouge. This material is from the parts of the batture that stays dry most of the year until the river inundates the area and all of this material is floated. When it reaches some obstruction and starts to become congested this is the result. There is just not telling what you will find in this flotsam.
