Musher #4 of 19 teams race toward me along the 25 mile through Anchorage, Alaska Annual Fur Rendezvous Sled Dog Race. The race held every day for a total of 75 miles begun in 1946 is the main event of a 3 day festival held in Anchorage before the almost 1000 mile Iditarod Sled Dog Race begins from Anchorage to Nome commemorating a dog team relayed supply of serum in 1925 that saved the town of Nome from a deadly diphtheria epidemic.
