What a treat it was to get some photos of a Harris's sparrow yesterday here in Kelowna, BC. It is rare to see them in BC, especially in the winter because they usually winter in the southern central states of the USA and migrate through Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba on their way to the NWT to breed in the summer.
