As a former resident of San Diego, I was privy to many amazing sunsets. This was just one that I was able to capture on a subsequent visit after moving to another state. I just had to be patient and wait for the colors in the sky to become intense enough and fortunately the water was at low tide which left a large area of beach where the water remains smooth and reflects the sky. The scene reminded me of an abstract painting.
