A dog inspecting the rotting carcass of a sea turtle washed ashore on the Mandarmani Beach, off the Bay of Bengal. I spotted more than a dozen dead sea turtles spread across the beach on friday (24-02-17), decaying in the sand and being eaten by dogs. There is a heavy concentration of fishing activities in the area and collisions with fishing trawlers might be the reason for these deaths.
