    Mekong River, Laos - There is a special spot across a shaky wooden bridge that requires a small fee (10,000 kip I believe) to cross, and once you do there is a "bar" set up on the hill. The light in the early evening was soft, and the sweet yet cheeky bartender looked radiant in her vivid, classy outfit - almost as if she expected a photographer to come. I just had to ask to make her portrait, and she was more than happy to oblige (after I bought a beer, of course)
