Getting away the city lights and out underneath the stars is one of my favourite pastimes. Over the family day weekend up at a friend's cottage, I was fortunate to have three crystal clear nights, and the opportunity to go on a few midnight star walks. It was calm and quiet. Just the sound of my footsteps crunching in the snow as I wondered through the trees.
