    There are several sections of the Indian society where the girl child is treated as a burden even today. ‘Educate the Girl Child, Save the Girl Child’ the “Beti Padhao, Beti Bachao” scheme of the Government of India is an ambitious scheme aimed to generate massive awareness. Graffiti of a girl on a wall in Bandra, Mumbai in India came alive with a discourse by Saritha Dattatreya who by profession is a full time educationist and by passion, a talented photographer.
