During my travels through Northern Kenya I came across very sad scenes due to severe drought. This photograph of a dead cow on the road was captured in Forole, on my way to Maikona, in Chalbi Desert. Unfortunately for the locals this wasn't the only dead cow or goat lying under the scorching sun. This area was dotted with dead animals.
