It was raining in February when i visited Mojave National preserve, I drove down to Zzyzx to see what they were doing there...on the way I noticed this wide open basin with pools of water where it just rained, I loved it, it felt so tranquil and the clouds were amazingly ominous , the rain and the mountains in the distance made for a great "feeling" image and I had to stop and snap the shot. It ended up being the best shot of the trip
