The Divine and Mysterious Moon
The moon is also known as Earth's natural satellite. It has also been personified as a goddess in both Greek and Roman mythology. Many legends, myths, and poems have been inspired by the divine and mysterious beauty of the moon. One poem written by Sir Walter Raleigh had stated " Prais'd be Diana's fair and harmless light ", in this case Diana is the Roman equivalent to Greek goddess Artemis. Both in which have been used to symbolize the moon. Both in which are divine.
