Blistering Barnacles
Hervey Bay in Queensland, Australia is an important stopover for the Humpback Whale and they feed on plankton and small fish life for several days, getting their reserves up for the inhospitable Antarctic. The white patches are the scars left by barnacles and you can see some dead ones hanging free
