We have had an elephant loving English friend staying with us, so I needed no excuse to take her to Lunugamwehera National Park! We had an experienced guide who took us well off the beaten track seeking truly wild elephants. Our jeep literally drove through hedges to reach the spot most likely to see these magnificent beasts. There were no other humans present. It was an experience I will never forget!
