This photo was captured at the Conkouati National Park of the Republic of Congo. This magnificent mandrill was the alpha male of his group. With his vivid color and strong appearance he was able to attract all the females. He is one of the many mandrills that were saved by the Jane Goodall Institute- which is doing phenomenal conservation work in many countries of Africa.
