    Warmer water temperatures can result in coral bleaching. When water is too warm, corals will expel the algae living in their tissues causing it to turn white. Palawan has not been immune to the effects of global warming because coral bleaching in El Nido coral reefs is getting worse. I showed this to my friend who was here last year and he said it wasn't this bad.
