While on a volunteer trip in Baiwan, China, this old lady walked past my friends and I. After asking her if I could photograph her, she agreed. The outcome is a picture capturing the moment right before a genuine smile, a brief moment when the Duchenne Smile is prevalent. I can tell she is a proud, hard working woman and she definitely knows it too.
