    The Spruce Goose is the largest airplane ever built or that ever will be built, because they now know that a plane that big is really not feasible. Hughes flew it one time for one minute, just to prove that it could actually fly. I took this shot when it was in Long Beach, CA and I thought I had some idea of how big it was, until I saw it. It is so big you just can't believe it unless you see it. The tail is 8 stories tall. The wing you see in this picture is 160 feet long. Amazing.
