    Beaches all along the west coast of Japan look like this in the winter. Around April they bring in big bull-dozers and whisk it away and burn it (ALL THAT PLASTIC!) As far as the eye can see you see junk like this. Some comes from Korea, some from China, but the majority comes from Japan. People don't want to pay to through their junk away so they take it out to sea and dump it there.
