The Boy Scout Jamboree at Mount Makiling in Los Banos, Laguna, Philippines was the site of the 10th World Jamboree in 1959. It was the first World Scout Jamboree to be held outside Europe and Canada attended by 12,203 scouts from 44 countries. Mount Makiling is a dormant volcano and a state-owned forest reserve.
