The boat race, also known as the Ok-Om-Bok Festival, is a traditional Khmer festival, held on October 13,14,15 each year. This is the most exciting and bustling festival, most expected in the Mekong Delta. Boat racing is usually held on the big river in Soc Trang and from 2016 has become the "Khmer Ngo Khmer Mekong Festival".
