    Conopsis lineata. A pretty common ground snake from central Mexico; they are really shy but this one was an exception. They are usually ignored, but they deserve photos too!

    The light here is just perfect. Did you use any flash to fill in the subject? Either way love the contrast of colors between the snake and the grass and how the colors pop in this image.
