Just outside the borders of Amboseli the long dry season has forced the Maasai herdsmen to take their cows and donkeys on a long trek across a dry lake bed each day just to find water. At the end of the day the herdsmen lead this ragged line across the desolate landscape to return to the safety of the boma for the night.
