This was an accidental photo shoot right before dusk as we drove back down from Mt. Washburn (photographing black bear) toward Gardiner, MT. We had heard this pair was milling around earlier in the week, but we had never seen them. Dusk was approaching fast so I hand held my Canon 7D with Canon 200-400mm lens with built in extender. This lease is pretty incredible (largest lens had I have hens held while shooting). Very pleased with how these turned out.
