In large pockets of India, the vulnerability of girl children takes shape the moment she is conceived, and the character, form and dimension of vulnerability keeps transforming with the time. Therefore the vulnerabilities starting from the female foeticide to an infant, then a girl child, adolescent, young adult, middle-aged and even old age keeps getting stronger and stronger... If this is my fear, then the level of distress that a girl/woman goes through in her daily life is beyond words...
